About Barclay Grayson
Shortly after graduating from the University of Oregon with a BS in management and marketing, Barclay Grayson studied for his MBA in finance and real estate at Columbia Business School, where he was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. Since 2003, he has served as a senior vice president of Portland, Oregon’s BPM Real Estate Group. As such, Barclay Grayson oversees all new developments and the acquisition of multi-family, senior housing, hotel, and office properties throughout Portland and beyond.
Since its establishment in 1977, BPM has constructed or acquired in excess of 4,400 apartment units and 340,000 square feet of office space. It has also developed 44 senior living communities throughout the Western United States, including six senior living complexes in Oregon, Nevada, and California, one of which earned a national design award in 2014.
In supporting the financing of the aforementioned and other projects, Mr. Grayson is particularly interested and adept in securing EB-5 and Opportunity Zone funding. He is also interested in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification.
